Description
Mushroom earrings in silver. Freestyle handmade, lightly textured caps are round but not perfectly symmetrical. The solid-silver stems are slightly curved, tapered and with a finish that ranges from lightly patinated at the top to brushed matte in the middle to polished at the tip.
Both caps and stems move freely. The patina of the stems and the caps’ outer surface is a muted gun-metal color while the caps’ underside are darker. Fish-hook ear wires seen in older photos have been replaced with handmade 21 gauge Argentium sterling wires and are attached using stainless steel. If you prefer larger or smaller ear loops – or a different style, let me know and I’ll gladly swap them out.
These fine silver earrings are approximately two inches (53 mm) long from top of cap to bottom of stem. The caps are approximately 13/16 inch (21 mm) wide. The set weighs approximately 24 grams (0.85 ounces).
