Argentium sterling silver spinner ring. 20-gauge Argentium sterling silver inner band that is hammer textured, has scalloped edges and is and ringed with both a hammer-textured sterling spinner and a twisted sterling wire spinner. Band width is approximately 0.49 inch (12.4 mm) wide. U.S. size 7.75 approx. Highly polished exterior with mirror finish. Stampled with maker’s mark (‘DPV’) and Argentium sterling mark (‘.935’).
Argentium sterling (.935) is superior to regular sterling (.925) because it is harder, shinier and tarnish resistant due to its higher silver content and lower copper content. It is also more expensive than standard sterling.
